It’s no secret that everything changed once she started working with Dan Nigro (also Olivia Rodrigo’s producer). As you can hear in #4 and #5, her entrance into this newfound collaborative sound was seamless; this is what she was meant to create.
That said, she just released a country song this year, which goes to show she won’t limit herself as a songwriter, despite whatever might be making her popular at the time.
And that takes a confidence I hope she never loses.
